The Park St George's Park - Heh, Heh, Hare!
Heh, Heh, Hare!
A somewhat amusing incident occurred during the progress of the Olympic III and Swifts III soccer match.

A somewhat amusing incident occurred during the progress of the Olympic III and Swifts III soccer match.

A hare was seen to scamper across the ground and as a result a remarkable scene was witnessed.

For a time football was ignored, the players being all engaged in the hunt, which lasted several minutes.

This caused the spectators from opposite the pavilion end to join in and after an exciting chase the hare was captured by a tramway guard.

Football was soon afterwards recommenced.
