Ivor Markman, a graphic designer by qualification, is a freelance photographer / writer in Port Elizabeth, South Africa.
He writes articles of historic interest and travel and for 14 years wrote a weekly column for The Herald called "One Hundred Years Ago".
He played an instrumental role in ensuring that the Belling Collection of Aviation Art was saved for the people of Port Elizabeth.
As a consequence of these two ongoing projects he was approached by the Eastern Province Cricket Board and asked to head the History Committee with a view to depicting the history of St Georges Park and Eastern Province cricket.
This website came about as a result of that research.
